These terms apply to your use of Ternate Tea & Spice Co. and to any order you place with us. The site is operated by Ternate Tea and Spice Co LLC, a limited liability company registered in South Carolina, trading as Ternate Tea & Spice Co.. By placing an order you agree to these terms.

Products and pricing

All prices are shown in USD and exclude any tax calculated at checkout. We do our best to describe our teas and spices accurately, but packaging and blends can change. If a product is listed at the wrong price or is unavailable after you order, we will contact you and refund you in full.

Orders and payment

Your order is an offer to buy. It is accepted when we send your order confirmation. Payment is handled by Stripe; we never see or store your full card details. We may cancel an order and refund it if we cannot fulfil it or if we suspect fraud.

Shipping, returns, and refunds

Delivery times, rates, and destinations are set out in our Shipping & Delivery. What you can return, and how, is set out in our Shipping & Delivery. Both form part of these terms.

Promotions

Free shipping applies to orders of $50 and over, before tax, shipped within US. Discount codes apply to a single order, cannot be combined unless we say so, and have no cash value. We may withdraw a promotion at any time, but doing so will not affect an order already placed.

Food products

Our teas and spices are foods, not medicines. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and our products are not intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any condition. Check the ingredients before use if you have an allergy, are pregnant, or are taking medication, and speak to your doctor if you are unsure.

Your content and our content

The text, photography, and branding on this site belong to us and may not be reproduced commercially without our permission. If you send us a review, photo, or message, you allow us to use it in connection with our business.

Liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot lawfully be limited. Subject to that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of South Carolina, and the state and federal courts located in South Carolina have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute.
